Advocacy

The Pharmacy Association of Saskatchewan is the voice of pharmacists in our province. As a partner in the healthcare system, PAS collaborates and advocates for advancing the application of the full scope of pharmacy practice.
Advocating on behalf of our membership, PAS advocates in four key areas; outreach and submission to the government, topics of interest surrounding pharmacy practice in healthcare, research on pharmacy practice, and committee participation on pharmacy-related issues.
The association works with stakeholders like the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals, Ministry of Health, the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition, University of Saskatchewan, Canadian Pharmacists Association and other groups to raise awareness and understanding of the full scope of practice of community and hospital pharmacy in Saskatchewan.
