Provider Burnout and Smart Snacking in the Workplace with Brooke Bulloch, RD

Brooke will discuss what burnout looks like in the workplace, how food and one’s relationship to food can impact stress, energy levels, and overall well-being. She will discuss the role that snacks play in a busy work environment, how to bring balance to snack options including moving away from the “all-or-none” mentality around eating, and provide examples of snacks that include plant based and allergy friendly options.

Brooke Bulloch is a Registered Dietitian and CEO at Food to Fit Nutrition in Saskatoon, SK. She earned a BSc in Nutrition from the University of Saskatchewan and her work experience began with the Saskatoon Health Region in 2009.

She started a private practice in 2012 and today Food to Fit is comprised of a small team of dietitians with various expertise. Brooke primarily supports individuals and families in the areas of infant feeding, gastrointestinal disorders, body image and disordered eating, and women’s health including fertility and PCOS. Brooke also has a certificate in Sports Nutrition through Sport Dietitians Australia/Dietitians of Canada.

Brooke is a media spokesperson and has been featured in a variety of Canadian press including: CBC and CKOM radio, The Globe and Mail, Huffington Post, Canadian Living, Chatelaine, Inside Fitness, and has a monthly, live segment on Saskatoon’s Global News Morning.

As a working mom and business owner, Brooke values simplicity and sustainability in nutrition planning and eating when it comes to feeding families. But she also encourages a curious and flexible non-diet approach to food and eating.
